My shirt is old but it wears well. It was given to me by my father and to him by his.
It's not worth anything to you, but to me it's much more than a shirt.
My children wear it sometimes, imitating their dad and my wife keeps it fresh and clean.
My friends always smile when they see me in it.

When I was young, only three, I asked my dad if I could plant a tree.
He kneeled down and said of course you can plant a tree. I smiled and said I have something special planned, but you'll have to wait and see. My dad just looked at me and smiled, saying with a chuckle Yes, this will be the perfect tree, for you and me, our special tree.
So with shovel in hand, my dad and me found a perfect spot for my little tree. And so excited I was, this small little twig, knowing someday it would grow to be so big.
Both me and the tree grew up and up and up. It branches grew long and gave lots of shade. Down below, critters homes were made. At first earthworms galore, then much much more. Small birds would come and see the tree, and stick around for the worms you see.

Where have you gone my love.
It is so dark here now.
Please send a dove to show the way.
Without you my name is Sorrow.
...
I looked upon the darkening sky
Feeling quite small and all alone
I sat and pondered to myself
...
Fight….Fight god dammit.
A cold shadow over you now
The darkness is all around
Its your choice.
...
Why doesn't happiness come in a package
Happiness should come in a-package
...
Fight. Fight
I hear it but its just no use.
The cliff is approaching.
There is no controlling it.
...
Dad I really feel lost without you.
I think of you all the time and find myself rudderless
You were always my rock.
...
My daughter
Sometimes the storms will rage.
The rain will pour like nothing you've ever seen.
And you're gonna fall hard.
