Know Where You Stand

They say with words that are baited
To see if we'll stand our ground
This world wasn't created
There's many a fossil we've found
It's obviouse Gods not there
And this Jesus
Just a man with long hair

But why does a flower smell sweet
Or a bird fly so well
And grass it's so soft on our feet
You'll never convince me there's no heaven or hell

And why does the sun warm the ground
Then when it sets what a view
There's only one answer to these I've found
And I know that the answers not new

Our God did it all with his word
Created in his image was man
Any other answers obsurd
Don't you know we're all part of his plan

Well of course we do when trouble comes by
Oh we believe then alright
And we're on our knees day and night
Well the good news is he's waiting
Just to hear our plea
He'd like to know we're repenting
It's the same for you and me

So if you have the faith to believe
And the courage to open your heart
God promises never to leave
And a new life we're able to start

Not created I don't see it that way
The prophets of old new the score
Jesus died to save the day
How could God love us more
