Then build myself up
I write to tell the unspoken words that I keep bottled up
I spit the fire my heart yearns to release

It's 2 o'clock in the morning
And I'm thinking ‘bout mourning
I've been doing that a lot lately
And it's getting kinda boring
...

I think it's quite unfair how they get to shine
They shine to taunt me with how high they are
They dance and gallop in the sky as the wind blows them along
Oh, how jealous I am of how they know they don't need the day to shine
...
