takes the snap and drops all the way back
rolls to the right,
hear the time counting down

Needing a score, they search for a leader.
Time ticks down on the clock, resembling a meter.

He runs on the field,

As he catches the ball and makes a move
He has a look in his eye, like there's something to prove.
He runs down juking defenders.
But all he really wants is a platter of chicken tenders.

sweat drips off his face resembling sap
takes the snap and drops all the way back
will he avoid the sack?

As he comes up to the lake
a fish leaves bubbles in its wake
he gets excited and throws out his line
but fishing here is illegal! will he get a fine?

There went by years
Riddled not with triumphs, but with tears
'Mommy, Mommy, why can't I fly? '
The little bird would ask his mother again and again.

Spilled milk
Never cry over it
The puzzle pieces will always fit
Worry festers til it pops like a zit
...

There was a boy who had a dream.
Working all day to bring it into reach.
He had greatness in his bloodstream.
All he longed for was to shine like a sunbeam.

Ready with his chest out
