Birds Poem by Maria Raponi

Birds

Birds fly in the sky
Trying not to die
Flying above the clouds
Catching dinner
Now they're proud
Now they're all winners
Loud eagles shake the ground
When they thud onto the mound
The sound starts to drown
When they drop to begin to eat their piece of slop
