In harsh, thick silence
(Subtle violence)

Wet snakes course through my body
And the fear grows
The fear of what's happening
...

Start slow
Build up
Get going
And can't stop
...

fly
with holes in the night
forever finding you alone
...

severed and gone,
sew the hope back together again

non-believing faith
...

Keep going
It never stops
But I can't keep up
Always running
...

I feel used
abused
stupid
confused
...

The snake lies in wait
Watching it, harmful
And false fate?
...

I don't feel the pain
tell myself
that I don't feel this pain
I can make it through
...

fire spreads across black oceans
they fill the world with flame
soon the land will catch as well
the whole world will go up
