Up In Flames Poem by Can I Live?

Up In Flames

fire spreads across black oceans
they fill the world with flame
soon the land will catch as well
the whole world will go up
a great ball of hell

run out to see
the line drawing closer
do you see the line?
stand in a daze
as the buildings go up with vengence in a hateful blaze

you feel the heat as do I
building up chills in your spine
and as those burning cinders draw nearer
you can sense their cold indifference
the intensity of their wrath makes me shiver

my life should be flashing in front of me
Flashing
all I never was but could be
a vivid image of my self ablize
not now, not me

everything I never lived for
everyone I never met
all that I thought mattered
all those precious memories
they never meant

walk with me now
in the vast sea of our ash
