Eagle's Nest

Come quickly with me lest the sun sinks into the luring west!

So there's light to see where an eagle built its lofty nest.

Daring, youthful thinking slipped into this proud bird's brain.

Or was it confident trust resting in its regal veins.

You see the tree the eagle chose its days in which to live

Looks old and weak and gnarled, like naught it ere could give.

You may be the mighty eagle.

You may be the worn out tree.

No matter what your role is here.

There is still a need for thee.
