When my faith is tried.

A partof this life's ebb and flow -
Earthly humanity.

By choice of numbers one to nine
A pattern will be mine.

When one could walk abroad - so bold.
Wander at will through country fields,
Down peaceful lanes with leafy trees.

Oh God give us grace

We all see you with different eyes.

Tread softly through the coming days.
If you falter - I am near you.
If you call - I will hear you.
If you doubt - I will reassure you.

As I went along the lonely road
At every bend I sought
The Face - the Face I dearly love
In all that lay before.

It began as an idea - a maybe? .
A gathering of people all ages, sizes, experiences,
Going somewhere - or nowhere.
Who cares! It might just work? .

I know myself and who and what I am.
Shaped and fashioned at birth - by those before,
And after, as life's encounters and experiences were
- Before you.

You gave me words - when I had no words.
You gave me a song - when I had no songs.
You gave me a smile - when I had no smiles.
