Daniel Navarrete Poems

As my tears run and failure is here
I cry as my end is near with no hope
In sight a lonely night is hell
to lose love again

I'm afraid of silence
I'm afraid of being forgotten
I'm afraid of being left behind
to wander on my own
...

As I lay here under the moonlight
The wind so cold blows down on me
As I lay here left to ponder
As the sound of thunder calls for my life
...

I lay in this meadow and gaze and glance at the stars above
i notice in disbelief my star has fallen out of the blue sky
this cold air the brings memories vidily
and your smile in pictures is all i have left
...

i hate the light that brings me into the daylight
i hate the doubt it brings
i much prefer the sky dark
i feel comfort in the dark

The End Is Near

As my tears run and failure is here
I cry as my end is near with no hope
In sight a lonely night is hell
to lose love again
to fail once more
my time is almost over
and no one knows it yet
to free my soul from this earthly routine
to close my eye's one last time
i'll smile as the blood runs on the bed
because i'll finally be good enough in death
no more struggles
no more fears
no more fights inside
no more glass dreams for an unwanted boy
no more me to give this world
the cold steel on my temple feels like so good
this mortal coil i can no longer endure
i'm on my way my eternal slumber
