Tonight Poem by Daniel Navarrete

Tonight

As I lay here under the moonlight
The wind so cold blows down on me
As I lay here left to ponder
As the sound of thunder calls for my life
The rain starts to drop hitting my face
These tears join the rainfall
As I see this lovely moonlight
Is there a place in the underworld?
And if so will my soul find peace tonight
Looking for peace in soul this world seems
So small tonight.
