As I lay here under the moonlight
The wind so cold blows down on me
As I lay here left to ponder
As the sound of thunder calls for my life

I lay in this meadow and gaze and glance at the stars above
i notice in disbelief my star has fallen out of the blue sky
this cold air the brings memories vidily
and your smile in pictures is all i have left
...

i hate the light that brings me into the daylight
i hate the doubt it brings
i much prefer the sky dark
i feel comfort in the dark
