O God of mercy, love and immense pow’r!
Rain down your compassion and healing show’r
On suffering souls, caught in the jaws of death,
Awaiting reprieve or a funeral wreath.

We love you sister for whatev’r you are;
We know you love your poesy as art;
You seem to love and care for others here;
And life goes on for you by just Pure Hope!

The moon looks like a broken cookie
Though it stays always whole.
It seemed like cheese to tiny tots,
But now akin bread-bun.

Poetry heals the mind and heart
And purifies the soul;
Poetry is divine an art
That helps us reach life’s goal.
