The Best Poem Of Eldon Cook

Nowhere

Nowhere
Pacing in a circle
Trying to find meaning
In the emptiness of my soul

Blindfolded
Wandering in the darkness
Straining to see the path of life
Through the mirage on the road

They say there is a God who loves and cares for me
They say he has a plan to lead and make mine eyes to see
Well Lord I’m calling out to you, Hear the desperation in my cry
I have no where else to go and if I don’t find you I will die

Jacob was a crafty one
Joseph just wanted to be found
Abraham wandered in the wilderness
Waiting for a son
Revealing yourself to them
Your promises fulfilled
More than giving them a purpose
You changed world

Faith…
Leads me to where you’re going
Giving light
The substance I’m walking on

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now I’m found
Was blind but now I see
