I have a thirst I can not quench,
A hunger I cannot control.
It's tempting,
tempting me to want things I shouldn't want,

I look around and see
no one.
No one is there to help me,
no one is there to see if I'm okay.

Every Night, When I close my eyes,
I feel fright, imagining the cries.
The cries of my loved, lost beloveds,
loyal to the end, when they lost their lives.

I walk around these crowded halls
Feeling so alone.
I am here in body, yet not in mind
and my heart seems to groan.
