Francis Duggan Hail Poems

Though I Hail From The Place

Though I hail from the place of the silver back crow
Of birds and their ways little I can claim to know
Though learning of Nature I still do enjoy
I have always loved her since I was a boy

I Hail From The Land

I hail from the Land of the gray hooded crow
Where Araglen and Finnow to the Blackwater flow
Through green old Duhallow on it's way to the sea
When I visualize such great beauty I see.
