A new world is born everyday
Out of the corners of our eyes.
Things once seen pass away
...
I saw a rose with no thorns;
It grew from dirty ground.
Red as cherry,
...
There was once a sun above me,
Dazzling my eyes with its glorious glare;
I took it for hope, ever-abounding hope.
I forgot that every sun sets at last;
...
I stand upon a jutting stone
Sticking out from a cliff,
Overlooking the sea,
And the sky overhead.
...
I meet countless everyday;
They fail me now and again.
I retreat.
But my day never dies;
...
The world has lost a king.
Music is in chaos; it bewails his loss,
The one whose life was music.
All danced to his tune;
...
The sky is dark, overcast with the cotton.
Wind blows hard raving against the Order.
A ship set sail along the face of troubled waters,
Compassed towards the core of ultimate hullabaloo.
...
A swarm of darkness creeps into my mind,
Forming dunes of stinging chronicles,
Yearning all the while for my kind
To come rushing with their pinnacles
...
Dawn breaks with the fall on earth of life,
Take to water, ducks flock upto their lay.
Parts from stream, sticks out to knife,
From utmost naivete a duckling out of way.
...
I see the passion in your eyes,
For they flash with fervor.
But tell me what marked them,
Is it dream or reality?
...
One early morn in the bloom of spring
I saw your scarlet cheeks lighting up my day;
I heard the melody of the bird in me sing
To the romantic sky to bring home my pay.
...
I can see somebody strolling down the street,
A dazed look in his face and a rose in hand.
It takes nobody to say that he's there to meet
A sweetheart with mischief in her eyes and....
...
Time's gonna prove my love;
Years gonna drive me up;
Things gonna come my way;
And I'm gonna make my day.
...
In the solitude of the wide span of breezy seashore
I stand watching the last glints of hope sink beneath hills.
The waves wash my feet with promising delight;
But at once move away with my heart in their crib.
...
Nothing reveals the mysterious eyes of fate,
So do we think of our palms and stars?
But within us its seeds lay;
The depth of boundless darkness unfolds.
...
Glancing through the orb of life
I see shades of my dreams
Miles away from me, forgotten decades ago,
Like snow-covered mist in freezing winter,
...
My head bows before Your Heavenly Presence;
Your Stars and Moon and Sun smile at me.
A Holy Communion, sing your wild tenants;
An insolent distraction, cry your humanity.
...
I sit alone brooding over my past,
No clear picture so far.
I stumble, it seems time to act
The part I am bound to.
...
Eyes
A new world is born everyday
Out of the corners of our eyes.
Things once seen pass away
Into the newer and more real.
Time always captures our fancy
To build up a wiser man.
Our life is but a game of chess
Where every foolish act pays.
If we couldn't change the world
We could at least change our eyes.
