Helena Way Poems

Gaze into my tear stained eyes and tell me nothing is wrong
We drift apart like broken shadows, wondering all alone
When we both thought our love was strong
We say not a word, a whisper it may
...

Music is beauty in my mind
Pouring words from thoughts once blind
The beat makes a steady thrum in my heart
While my ears are tingling with pure delight
...

I see you standing right next to her
She stares into your eyes so deeply
You take her hand and walk together
Flowing into the corner beside me
...

Would You Leave Me, Love?

Gaze into my tear stained eyes and tell me nothing is wrong
We drift apart like broken shadows, wondering all alone
When we both thought our love was strong
We say not a word, a whisper it may
I don’t recall, the sound of your monotonous tone

So I ask you now
And bid you reply
Did our love just die?
I feel your soul
The beat of your heart
It floats within my sky

But to say we love so dearly
Is madness in itself
I will not say I’ll leave you
For I need you oh so dearly
Though I feel us going no where
I feel us getting old
We are two doves that will not fly
Forever in Hells abode

So would you leave me, love?
Leave me on my own?
I’ll never find true love, it seems
Maybe that is not my road?

So we must end here
I bade you goodbye
Indeed, I feel our love just died
I lost your soul, your rhythmic pounding
No longer floating in my sky

So tell me why I feel this way
Why do I feel so calm?
Maybe I am numb
Maybe I died?
My love left me all alone
I urge the need to feel
For the world is spinning in front of my eyes
I feel the blood on my wrist
I feel the blood from his heart
It quickly becomes darker
Until my love and I join the abyss
