It's beating, yes;
Sending life through my veins;
It's clouding my judgment,
Making me feel so insane;

Pain enters his mind;
Suffering tattooed on his heart;
He grabs his guitar,
Right from the start;

Hot to touch, cold to love
Lips like blush, Free like doves
Trapped in corner, Eyes like dead
Lovely words, Messed up head
...

As handsome as can be
He has yet to hit the charts
He walks onto the stage
His smile silently shatters hearts
...

I miss you like the tide would miss the ebb
I miss you like the spider would miss her web
I miss you like a wave would miss its curl
I miss you like the abalone would miss its pearl

The ghost of your memory
Amongst the cloud of my dreams
The sun should be remedy
Though it’s not at all as it seems

I cry for the woman
Who have chosen a life
Where everything in it
