Underneath the pale damp street lamp, shadows Hide beneath our feet longing to escape the dreadful beam
Rushing
Soaring
The faint glow in the distance, reflecting far between the mist, dawning light for all to see, but hides the face for mystery
...
The constant white glare looking, out piercing onyx cold air
single they stand, together they sit, splitting the night
one by one
taking up one another until the final drop fits
...
A faint whisper heard from afar
Darkness moving with haste
From one thought to a second then to a third
Let it out
...
Shattering, tearing
Breaking up into irreplaceable,
irreparable pieces,
Left all alone,
...
Street Lamp
Underneath the pale damp street lamp, shadows Hide beneath our feet longing to escape the dreadful beam
Rushing
Soaring
The faint glow in the distance, reflecting far between the mist, dawning light for all to see, but hides the face for mystery
Running
Stunning
I move apart to see the pale damp street lamp, a beacon for many, now beacons me as well, they move together and enter the dreadful beam, and seem to find that all along was calling me outside.
