Lost Numbness Poem by Jackson Ford

Lost Numbness

Shattering, tearing
Breaking up into irreplaceable,
irreparable pieces,
Left all alone,
trying,
striving to repair all the misplaced shards,
learning to live,
crawling to the pain,
testing your numbness,
hoping not all is gone,
but seemingly growing less and less,
Running for warmth.
