They look, but do not see.

Billowing waves, dried dwindling leaves,

Green and blue.
Yellow and Red.

Bitterness preludes
To soar and find this world,
leave behind nothing but emptiness.

I linger here
My soul paved and set.
Our past distant there
Where we first met.

Late at night,
When the sky is still bright,
A flicker of flame burns within my heart.

There's that bitter smile,
percieving onlookers,
A full heart
continuingly gives

Retracing footsteps, hidden
beneath the oceans bed.
A fallen star
