A lonely man who dwelled in the woods,
Spent all his time writing love songs & poetry,
Although he had a kind & loving way,
All his attempts to win his lady fair were sadly thwarted;

I wonder if I should stay at home with this flu now,
I'm feeling kinda guilty; as I know I should go to work though,
Then again... I really wonder how?
But if I get fired... it would be quite a blow,

There is a lovely lady of the lake, who is a true Goddess,
Her strong presence can be felt far & wide; especially when she casts out her potent spells & prowess,

She's a mystical being, who'll stage magical spells on both friend & foe

Lights illuminate to guide us on our way,
The sun, stars & moon shine for us each day,
Light bulbs glow within our homes,
To comfort & keep out the darkness of the great unknown,
...

Just becuase I appear mean to thee,
Be careful neither to harshly judge me;
As my haggard looks & moody actions might deceive...when my hunting skills are on display,
But like you I too have my gentle & loving ways,
...

On the grayest of days I stood by your graveside there;
And shed so! many tears....leaving only numbness to bare;
As all those memories flooded back from o'er the years,
Creating some joy, but mostly sadness with all these tears,

Elizabeth Taylor was our grand Hollywood star,
Whose great beauty & talents took her far,
She became for awhile our Queen of the Nile,
With all her taunting charms & that sweet smile,

Let's walk together on through the forest way;
And sit beside a silent stream,
Sharing our love with one another;

Like driftwood tossed about at sea,
In life our lost & wayward ways lead us astray;
As we aimlessly wander you & me;
Where waves restrain & alienate us further away,

Each Autumn brings with it sweet memories of you;
When I suddenly fell in love...it's true,
I often return to that precious Autumn day we met;
