Jean jacques M. Dhybondo Poems

I saw a girl today,
She was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen,
So beautiful I couldn't face her smile.
I had my eyes on her when suddenly she looked at me
...

In the silence of your worries,
In the torments of your lonely moments,
Feel the softness of my will
Filled with love and passion,
...

I have learned something,
Something I want to share:
Nothing is impossible to bear,
You can; only if you dare.
...

Darling,
If you are reading this, it means I'm gone.
It means nothing I did or said could repair what we've destroyed.
As I'm going under new skies, to discover new earth and heavens;
...

Wishing you all the best
For this beautiful season,
Don't be shy, celebrate Life,
Forget about the rest,
...

Your face has an expression,
Expression of Life, an expression of a beating heart,
A heart that desires to beat for as long as God want it to.
I can feel it; I can see and read it in the tenderness of your face,
...

Mon père m'a dit;
Mon fils souviens toi de ce mardi,
Il sera différent de tous les jours qui passent,
Il sera doux et couvert de grâce,
...

I saw a girl today,
She was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen,
So beautiful I couldn't face her smile.
I had my eyes on her when suddenly she looked at me
With this kindness I felt ages ago,
Wow, she almost got my heart pounding again.
I was there standing,
Speechless and still like a stone, for a while time stopped.
My heart was beating so fast,
I thought it'll jump out of my chest.
Somehow, I realized; no woman has ever looked at me the way she did,
Even those I once was crazily in love with.
She was there,
Right in front of me and I couldn't see anything else but her,
Filling all my space, all my world, my universe...
She smiled at me and all my strength vanished like a smoke in the air,
I felt weak, very weak in my knees,
For a minute I thought my feet weren't touching the ground,
I looked aside, shy and ashamed to be;
Then in this confused second,
my lost courage was somehow given back to me,
I turned to her with words in my heart and mouth...
She was gone; I looked around hoping to see her shadow in the dark,
Gone, vanished without a trace.
