Goodbye Poem by Jean jacques M. Dhybondo

Goodbye

Darling,
If you are reading this, it means I'm gone.
It means nothing I did or said could repair what we've destroyed.
As I'm going under new skies, to discover new earth and heavens;
I want you to know, you were never a mistake,
But everything I ever wanted,
Everything I ever wished for.
You meant the world, my world and you still…
I loved every touch,
Every kiss we shared,
Every love we made.
The majestic smile on your face after love.
And the scent of your sweat built my confidence and pride.
I want you to know; I was just a man, with all that comes with…
Just a man who loved you with his last breath,
But made mistakes as every man would have made.
Thanks for making me the person I am.
You taught me things I never had a chance to learn,
Things about love, about life…
You took my hand and showed me the way
I should takeTo become the man I am today.
Thank you for everything you were and forever will be.
I'll miss your love and care, your smile and smell,
I'll miss everything you are and don't blame you for it…
I'll miss you!
