i know we're deep in thought,
pondering, working things through,
trying to stay away from divination
but not to be stupid,
...

off they go, and i am glad for them.
but happy does not mean discontent,
and i can be hyper and patient
at the same time.

oh, urgency, that dreadful boulder
looming towards your head...
urgency, the drive to think more
quickly-march in time, perform
...

Who am I?
And who are you?
And why does it matter?
Why do we have to think?
...

you'll be flying, soon (look away, sweet home) ,
above the prose, the poetry, and all of the ideas
you've had-above the dim mirage
of future, through the looking-glass
...

I searched and I searched for the
Magic words, and they ran in my
Mind like the stream that somehow,
Stumbling, falling, falls forward, falls
...

i do not desire my actions, either,
but i am clinging to my intentions.
oh, it's a feeble clinging, i'll give
you, but please help me hold on;
...

a fasting man once told me
his intentions didn't work-
he tried to think of higher things,
but he just wanted food
...

let me long to love, always,
more than to be loved

but let me always know, dear God,
...

in the woods, not very far from the
road, there’s a creek.
it comes upon you suddenly,
trickling down from some secret birth-place
