sitting there, she watches wide-eyed
they swear she isn’t listening
they expected her to cry

cold blue-green terror binds me now
slows my movements, hides the ground
shadows lurk hungrily
wanting to get hold of me

it cuts through the place where nurturing sleep could have been
(i don't really remember if that was still an option) ,
but its noises and writhing make my heart ache and pound,
'cause their eyes are closed, so here i'm bound.

rising from the grave in injust fashion,
while only waiting to die again? !
