This is a time of fire,
fire and flowers…
The flames tell their story
all night.
...
What have I to think
about the leaves, which perish in autumn,
...
The alabaster palms put out the candles,
The alabaster palms light the gloom,
...
Wrap me up with the twig of jasmine
and say: 'it's the spring'.
...
You wander around the world
across beautiful countries,
you wonder how wonderful
the world is…
...
Your eyes follow me -
they look into my heart...
They wrap up all my cares
with a wrap splendour of oblivion.
...
Autumn’s leaves like falling flames
at your feet – fire that bears no light no heat.
...
Just now I come back silently'/'
whence the mallows and the lilacs bloom.'/'
...
A long way off the stars of remembrance.
We close ourselves in our life.
So a long way off to each other,
...
All my love I offer you
I give you all that I have.
The Autumn leaves rustle so lonely -
They tell about the distance,
...
And when again the snow falls down,
And all the leaves have disappeared
Someone will still go this way.
This solitary way, full of illusions.
...
Searching you
to put an end to my desire
I want to feel, I want to know
why the wind is blowing,
...
Dancing With The Flames
Dancing with the flames
a fiery gypsy’s dance –
Fire in our hearts, fire in the trees,
fire on the sky…
Touched with fire
we want to catch the flames....
Dancing with the flames
we feel the rainbow fire,
we feel the fire’s warmth,
we see the fiery lady
dancing with the gypsys
so magical, so dangerous…
We feel the breath of fire’s world,
we feel the spirit of the fire,
we hear the rhapsody
of the fire’s wild flames…
