To attack the truth.
As an excuse once used,
By the ones feeling unamused.

Hindsight to have it,
Seems always used...
As a beneficial defense.
By those who refuse to listen.

'They' and 'them',
Of the thoughtless...
Greed feeding and selfish kind.
Who represent the interests...

One's loyalty to give,
Does not require them to have...
Intelligence possessed.
Or experience proven,

So many unconscious.
With minds quick to twist.
And easy to bend out of shape.
Has resulted in conflicts.

And the winner of 'this',
Election 'is'...
Envelop please.
Hmmm.

Straighten up your backbone.
Know you can do that.
Walk like you've got a backbone.
To own as if a fact!

Even when the morning dawns.
Upon the horizon.
Welcoming the arrival of noon.
There will be an a.m. to p.m.
...

No one lives without a paying a cost.
Or missing someone dear to have lost.
So don't complain to me about your life.
And the things about it you dont like.

Materialism?
Definitely has its presence.
