Often those who say they mean well,
Do so.
When noticeably convenient,
After deeds undone but promised and wished...

In communities without unity,
Where just a few people...
Do as they please,
To destroy the environment...

I did not prepare and struggle,
To get to first base.
To stand and bask in adulation alone.
My eyes were always set upon 'home'.

Those in the 'know'
Do what they can,
To keep others inspired.
And uplifted.
...

Torned by random runs.
With a direction unspecific.
Split between continuing,
On a path thick.
...

I have already been there,
To witness the same things done.
With the hearing of the same excuses made.
And the attempts by others to do 'something',
...

If there is anything,
That having personal experiences bring...
Is one simple fact felt and kept intact.
An obtaining of them to have,
...

Now that sexual preferences confessed,
Are opening closed closet doors once shut to ignore...
To be discussed and prioritized to re-assess.
Perhaps the real issues we all live to confront,
...

My feelings are real.
Not a hobby to express.
Connected to them I am.
Nothing I openly address to confess,
...

With it still in my mind to be remembered,
And with time given to it spent to have it make sense.
I have lived long enough to be convinced,
That nothing worth the value of it done to have happen...
