I hated that you hated me and did not hate you back.
I felt a hurt that crushed me deep...
And I did not fight that back.
My feelings aren't scientific...

And was prepared to die...
I closed my eyes.
Took a breath and sighed.

I feel the thunder.
And it embraces.
I see the lightening...
And its electrical traces.

And he is black.
Republicans and democrats...
Fighting to decide,

Look...
I could care less,
About you being stressed
Distressed, depressed...

My goal?
To please God.
And do as He wishes.
That is my goal.
