If sweet songs were for you,
I'd sing them with a heart so true!
If the words were mine,
For you, I'd chop them fine.
...
Simple complexities, complex simplicities,
That's what poetry-for me-poetry is.
Cool wierd stuff, boring fun stuff
Is why definitions of poetry are tough.

If Sweet Songs Were For You
If sweet songs were for you,
I'd sing them with a heart so true!
If the words were mine,
For you, I'd chop them fine.
But since neither is there,
Let this love perish in despair.
So sad when I dream of a win,
The cold dark reality sinks in.
Because we can't afford this time,
I will give this generous rhyme:
If only hearts were brave enough, dear,
And harmonious breezes good to the ear,
Then all this would be a twinkle thought
In all the lavish romance we could've cought!
