The spring of my life is fading away...
I can feel the rustle of the falling leaves of autumn,
Just round the corner.
...

I was known as the boy of the school
Until the time I graduated high school.
They were proud to have a boy in school
As ours was a girl's high school.

She was an artist; he was a connoisseur

She was a writer; he was a voracious reader
...

I did hold on to him tightly
Even when I knew the grip was slipping
I wanted to make myself believe
That it was all a big bad joke.

She yearned to soar high
She wanted to pluck the moon flower
She dreamt of flying on albatross's wings
She wanted to swim in the ocean, till the end of the world.

Your Soul Will Belong To Me

The spring of my life is fading away...
I can feel the rustle of the falling leaves of autumn,
Just round the corner.

Our entwined fingers are loosening,
As our parallel path is diverging away...
Our shadows are not merged anymore,
Connected merely by our outstretched hands.

I dread that time, when
I have to walk forward, watching you walk away from me
Unable to run behind you,
Our worlds already separated by the driest leaves.

I am terrified of the summer,
Where i go thirsty without even your sight...
Will the arid west wind being me your fragrance,
To wrap me in your warm embrace?

My life will be a journey across a deserted path,
When you are no more by my side...
Leaves befallen, wind whispering, the sparrow
Singing a melancholy for her faraway mate...
Footsteps will never be a solace again, for
There won't be another pair to echo mine...

I know I will keep walking, in the hope
That our paths will cross again, sometime.
I know i won't waver, for
Your soul will always belong to me.
