M C Wright Poems

There must be a film set in the clouds somewhere
Never seen such a thing while flying in the sky
It must be a magnificent place without compare
But it is hidden so well and I wonder why
...

At which place have we arrived my darling son?
What events overtook us, what could we have done?
Is there no other newer route that we could take?
It is you I need and you need me for goodness sake

Then along the path ‘tween road and sea
The beauty in your mind will last forever

Her elegant posture and that piercing stare

Hollywood stars eligible to work in such a place
Whether a cameo or some major role
Even now we would recognise every face
As they act with their heart and soul

They must make some wonderful films up there
They have the skill of a trade they've plied
Shame it's not a body of work they can share
Are only there because they have died
