The moon that glows

An Angel falls
But not from above
The Angel crawls
To one new thing: Love.

There is a pain inside
That Im forced to hide
There is this life I lead
That causes my heart to bleed

Love is a cold mistress
She can be cruel but kind
Yes, its her I miss
Even when she played with my mind

A young man in life
He sits so confused
She meant to be his wife
She chose not, So his heart lays bruised

An Angel watches
An Angel Cries
His charges change
His charge dies

In her eyes, I see a warm light
In my arms, I'll make her feel right
In her hand, I'll feel so strong
In my hand, I'll hold her so long

It makes me wonder
How to feel I should
Loud like thunder
I know happiness is gone for good

Sweet sorrowful life, how it disappears from our gaze
How quietly our love seems to leave from our days
There is no pain like a love so painfully lost
It seems so much colder than a sub-zero frost

For this woman, his heart doth treasure
And in his soul, he will always treasure
In her heart, naught these feelings lay
But like a game, with him she'll play
...
You wonder how things can have gotten so bad
How things were so great and now they couldn't get worse
Wishing you could fix them but knowing you never can
Living with the knowledge that your to blame

I have loved you
For years upon years
Your eyes that I missed
Brought tears upon tears.

I see my world, through everyone's eyes
My ability is without my disguise
My love for you
Was something I didn't expect

I know my face
Is not the hottest around
I'm tired of feeling
Like i belong in the ground.

Life seems to die
they fight for love
with the dreams above

Hair so dark, like the nights sky
A smile so bright it blocks out the sun
Eyes the color of the darkest soil

Im just a normal guy who writes my poetry with inspiration from my own feelings or from the people around me. All of it comes from my own heart and soul. And the feeling that never goes
Life keeps us apart
But we find our way back
You stole my heart
When, I dont know, I lost track
Why did you let me leave?
Why didnt you try to stop me
I just couldnt believe
The pain I gained that you couldnt see
I saw you again
The feelings came back rushed
I couldnt remember the pain
But relished how we touched
I'll never forget
Its something I cant do
Nor will I regret
What I've done with you
No matter what we do
No matter where we go
I'll always love you
Its a promise you will always know
That will never change
No matter how long
The distance between us may change
But what I feel for you will never feel wrong
