Life is but a brief paragraph
in Eternity's book.

Our moments fly by swifter than the beating thrush of wings.

Michelangelo carved his statue 'David' out of a block of marble that everyone said was no good. They all laughed at him and called him a fool. They said that he was only wasting his time as the marble belonged in the dump.

The rose blossoms
In the early springtime
Joyous and beautiful
Opening to the warm sun

The helper gives of herself, every day, expecting nothing in return. Day after day, she sees to it that other's needs are met, although her eyes are heavy from lack of sleep.

She fixes up her small corner of the world and makes someone else's day a little brighter. But, who can she turn to? Who will lift her spirits when she's feeling low, like she can't take that extra step? Others praise her for being so strong and useful, but who will love her when she's weak and broken?

My heart is a red rose, delicate and fragile.

My center is tender and soft and hurts terribly when touched, so please approach me with care.

He spoke to me first, and asked of me a favor. He was a weary traveler in need of refreshment.

Soul connects with soul
Heart speaks to heart
Lives are poured out and shared
Each blessing the other.

Sorrow is the texture of sandpaper, a gritty and abrasive substance as the sadness rubs against your broken heart, causing pain.

It all begins from a tiny mountain stream flowing down from the valley, not knowing of its eventual greatness. It simply follows the course Nature has intended for it.

Other rivers flow into this one. The new river created from this union continues on its way. Over time, other rivers empty into this one, causing it to grow in size and power.

Sleep now, my love, so fair and young. Rest your sweet head under the lilac trees where their fragrant aroma infuses my soul with Light.

Peaceful now is the world, wrapped in Diana's restful cloak. The stars hang overhead like graceful, silent lanterns lighting our path.

The velvet night, full of dark beauty and grace coaxed the two young lovers out into the still night air to fully explore its profound mysteries.

A deep and quiet stillness permeated the air and a delicate and airy hush fell throughout the world. These were the magical hours, the time between late night and early morning, a most acceptable time for a little night magic.

The entire world is cloaked in a dark and mysterious beauty
Night has spread her star-studded blanket.

'The Brevity Of Life'

Life is but a brief paragraph
in Eternity's book.

Our moments fly by swifter than the beating thrush of wings.
We race towards an inescapable conclusion
Knowing of our eventual departure.

Lives become fuller, richer and deeper
When they are lived with a sense of the eternal in mind.
Moments become more precious as we realize our allotted time
The brevity of our days.

When we live with the realization that life is but a shadow, a vapor,
We appreciate it more and spend it fully.
