Michael Stephen Poems

She's got a sexy thing down there, very curious
like a gargoyle guarding castle climax,
the stone face of love‘s inner pleasure.
Do a little titillating dance dream soul baby
...

We are not so separate as these words that we use to define us.
when we take hands inside with smiling heart,
Two hearts spinning are only selfless reflection
one mirror
...

Falling down........ one day I will not rise
each time I do seems like a miracle I've known my whole life
Slowing down while going faster.... making more and less sense
Some how knowing, or excepting this is all right
...

Our egos want to believe they are real but I don't believe what is real is born of us.
I believe we have to stop pretending to know, and pretend instead we don't know,
like children that is the empathy we share in all it's beauty.
...

I bring myself to you and my heart is a bird in a cage,
this heart who's voice you wish to possess to sing praises and be redeemed in the child heart mercies to which the child heart dances at your touch.
Last night you cried so sadly that you wanted only gladly to love me in your kindness and keep me in your fineness and the pain in you was singing of the depth within you from which it was winging to wrap wings with mine opening this cage door.
These powers of voices
...

Us in bed, watching a movie with Johnie Cash.
You questioned why I flinched at your touch.
It's a male thing? Someone in me that intuits pain, and there,
doesn't experience sensitivity.
...

She has chosen me as her lover, her rock,
some would question me as a safe harbor.
in this ever changing sea of time swimming
be that as it may, she has created a love sick Pirate
...

I saw his pale Cheshire vulnerability,
his confused demeanor, a doughnut hole of masculinity.
Stoned out of my gourd on a bender of gender,
I'd been picked up by a skinny drag queen,
...

The Heat inside grew like a wildfire,
out of control,
hurricane winds blew off the door.
I went at the men like they'd gone at my little girl,

She's got a sexy thing down there, very curious
like a gargoyle guarding castle climax,
the stone face of love‘s inner pleasure.
Do a little titillating dance dream soul baby
drive me crazy awaken that fire that thrills your insides
Baby's so 50's with sweet soul fire

like the cars of the fifties she never dies.
Over sizes tires create the smooth ride
With her big motor you feel what's inside.
Sex things take a lot of tinkering
you can't leave'm in the garage.
You do a little herb put the top down
and loose your mind in delight.

You've got to sexify your self to get on track
moving to her music, her piston's of pleasure, of sexy dream passion.
Motion picture making, surrealistic passion playing,
motor mama's Inner connection to the map of nirvana.

She's got me flying so high
like a kite at the end of a string of my heart.
Sex gets better the deeper you go,
Like a caravel ride to forever on the road.
Mother love's carbonation makes her fly
,
On the road some night, when you've lost your mind on the peace of pot, ..
she may embrace you divine precious baby so wild and crazy
with the face of an angel, a mermaid, a faery faun
she's like a Disneyland ride with that devil loose gravel on a dangerous curve
I died some time that night sailing off the cliff of delight
the demons in men don't go easy to the other side.

No even in death I'm haunted by that ride
soul snake vision quest the land of me.
intrinsic inner sea,
a sea within a sea within a sea of delight.

sometimes I sail above myself, sometimes
I still hear the music
as rock and roll rolled down the road like a Cadillac
with curves of pretty girls and excited suitors
discovered beauty and the sweet engine of innocent soul music
turned night street corners into dream music,
into harmonies of youths longings
to die for love and in love forever.
