Moving Into Magic Poem by Michael Stephen

Moving Into Magic

Falling down........ one day I will not rise
each time I do seems like a miracle I've known my whole life
Slowing down while going faster.... making more and less sense
Some how knowing, or excepting this is all right
Perplexity is a many headed snake snaping from all directions
My best defense is a blind fantasy of fate or magic
I move in rivers that flow from my soul
yet so many other currents wish to pull me away
Love's sweet charub face clouding over
as I sink below copping
I believe in magic and magic believes in me
can God cope with mankind any better then me
Reality bends in God's hand to beauty
like love bends to the sublime this is the wonder of Yin.....
the Yang just bears down like a cramping muscle screaming
When a man's exceptance of his gifts
becomes a more holy exploration and art
art becomes alchemy
creating of heart woven of pain's sucking fingers
shelter in the very embers
that burn and inspire your unraveling dance
