Your eyes screaming silently with every step
You open your mouth, ready to speak
But no sound comes out, your words cannot leave
Blinding darkness, deafening silence
Thoughts lingering of your unspoken defiance
Shadows creeping, your heartbeat pounding
Images blurring as your judgment starts clouding
Eyes shutting, fingers numbing
Your body grows cold as you hear them coming
Footsteps approach, your body moves less and less
It won't be long before you drown in this deep, dark mess
