The Storm Poem by Nicole Em.

The Storm

The thunder cackles
Taking control on this gloomy night
The sky darkens
Lights out
Pitch black
Blinding my sight

The wind hisses like a snake
Its tongue wrapped around
As the poisonous venom seeps through my ears

Thunder continues to roar
Silencing this night
Lightning takes it by storm
A bullet of light
Rain heavily pours
Leaking from the sky
All else disappears
While the storm destroys the night
