Framed Poem by Nicole Gehrman

Framed

Strangeness coming over me, I wait for my time of demise
As I stare my enemy in the eyes.
It’s like a wanting to end it all
But too afraid to fall.

Fear for what it sees.
The haunting passion is at a freeze.
Like a cat and mouse game.
All I can feel is pain.

It’s drowning in it’s own blood.
Dreaming of a future flood.
Not wanting to come up for air.
Realizing that nothing is ever fair.

Framed for it’s beliefs,
Hoping to get some relief.
Wanting all the lies to just end.
So everything can rewind and he wouldn’t need to defend.

All I did was frame his heart like a prize.
When I broke it and left him to die for my own rise.
Never realizing the aftermath
That would end in his dwindling path.

I like this one, but it also kinda fears me. Because I hope I'll never feel like this, but I fear I maybe do someday.
