Noah Ohler Poems

It's hard to believe that
something wretched can produce
something beautiful
to carry the seed
...

I told you I'm fine
'cause I've learned to lie
you're best off unknowing
and let your own heart sing
...

Darkened shaddows
sillouette upon the
broken down walls
Broken from dreams
...

I could sing you 'I don't want...'
or a beatles love song
but I'll stick to my own rhyme
play the tricks and work the time
...

Dark and smokey rooms
with sounds from the unknown
a line seperates me from reality
and what may take me home
...

Bent over backwards
for a feeling of numb
nearing heart attacks
can't turn back
...

She's reached
all she could
no more limits
it's all a matter
...

In the dark
paper touches pen
under the old tin sound
as it rains again
...

Envy surrounds like a shroud of debate
In underlying liars that justify fate
Pretentious exhibits and visual deceit
Work hard and live strong for a bitter defeat
...

Over a year make it more,
but how much more can you make it;
ten, twenty, fifty, or thirty,
tell me, tell me, make me filthy
...

I'M The Seed

It's hard to believe that
something wretched can produce
something beautiful
to carry the seed
to bare generation
to carry the leaves
to fall isn't tragic

the bird that tears up the fruit
so simple, leaves a scar in the memories

a book tells two stories
one that's printed
and the other up until
it's cut down

your dillusionous greed
you took from the seed

how would you like your legs
out from underneath
the pain seems deathening
but trees don't partake in grief
they'll fall by the numbers
and never shed tears
and yet to recall
it's our biggest fear

I'll sit in the silence
and grow with the trees
study their aspects
maybe I am a seed
