From birth's tender dawn to the twilight's gentle sigh,
A cycle eternal, where beginnings meet the sky.

Would our grain sprout to see the sunrise,
And hear the melody of birds in glee?
Or would we crawl in a world of lies?

Exploitation, dark and foul,
Your grasp on humanity makes me scowl,
With greed and deceit, you take and take,
Leaving behind nothing but heartache.

Opinion, dear opinion,
Thou art a powerful force,
Shaping thoughts and actions,
With every uttered discourse.

Pease hearken to my plea,
For in my heart, remorse does deeply dwell,
My words and actions caused you hurt, you see,
And now I come to you, in humble spell.

In the wind of fervent election day,
Promises made with grand displays,
