OLUMIDE AYODELE Poems

The shocked stars'd hurriedly left the sky
And ashes of the elfin moon still remains
The startled sky'd turned a new sleeve
Replacing her dark blanket into a brilliant blue
...

It all began structurally,
The beautiful bricks in her eyes,
Began the soothing effect of the foundation,
Knocking down houses of soary wrinkles,
...

We became walking diatribes of moving phrases,
Tacklingthe burden of hunchback monotones,
Shackled with the lead of empty metaphors,
All along flunging an apple at the smirking moon,
...

its tormentous falls
plaited the the leaves and trees with watery coiffeur
it made them mumble.it made them murmur.
it made them grumble.it made them stumble.
...

that skinny sango-worshiping tree over there
barely removed my head for asking for one more beer
may she develop elephantiasis only on her left ear
and may lightning flog out bad manners from her big mouth for a year,
...

So they came
With the blame
With the flame
Of your game.
...

one sudden night
a star came and snatched my heart away
it was toyed with till it grew faint
tired my poor heart was smashed to pieces
...

it is a pity
that people peopled people into office
but people unpeoples their people on getting there
then cripple their people while peopling them
...

i wrote a poem about a girl
who threw my heart into a shore
she made me dance around her whirl
then deemed me bore and waved the door

The Best Poem Of OLUMIDE AYODELE

Morning

The shocked stars'd hurriedly left the sky
And ashes of the elfin moon still remains
The startled sky'd turned a new sleeve
Replacing her dark blanket into a brilliant blue
Bemusing the sleepy sun from his lenghty nap

At first, she shyly opens her yellowish eyes
And then she stood and began her celestial duty;
Roaming about.
