With woes unheard
like the prophecy of a neonate
They grew up in tenebrosity
Serenaded by loud lullabies

Fate

With woes unheard
like the prophecy of a neonate
They grew up in tenebrosity
Serenaded by loud lullabies
with gnarly hands caressing the shoulders
of a troubled soul with assurance
of not to fret owing much to education
being the conventional key to success
Yes, they grew up industrious
became alumni of credentialed colleges
had the key in hand
but unfortunately
they couldn't find the door
