Pamela Moorehead Poems

It is not pride tha made me step aside from the treaties that they made
What atrocity that my people done that made them head hunted still today?
Open season is for hunters of poetry not for men of color of the spectrum it shouldn't be so that mentality should be dead so I hang
in the midnight and sneak around the dark
...

Today is a new day and although some cannot see tomorrow I was born a different way
I will wake up to the sun rise as its long rays stroke my face
and dream about my lover who knows me by my name
He wraps his strong long arms around me as his green hair tickles my nose
...

Who are we?
We are not maggots or are we?
Can we imagine who we'd be if not for life
the love of destiny

If I Dare To Love

If I dare to love what would become of me? I see me and I am love itself, I look in your eyes and know that my heart cannot help who it loves nor does it want to stop it self for it is pounding like a track star at the starting line my mind racing chest pounding and I dare love behind; I miss easily so keep up before love gets away from me, love and I will run this race, we ae one and when I pass the baton of love and love will not dropp it I will cross the finish line this time because I will let nothing stand in my way some of the time and none of the time when it comes to love it is alll of the time so as I break stride and leave the rest behind and throw my arms back and push my breast toward the finish line I ran hard for love and for one last time you let me know what can happen when I dare to love

These poems belong to me and for whatever reason they are now not accredited to me. I have attempted to add other poetry this year of 2017, with no ability. I have emailed poet hunter, about the confusion. I would like all my poems if possible leading to the next poems
