To see what glorious things happen to be waiting for me.
What ripe adventure could begin anew,
Spring forth with joy in all I say and do.

The wind plays through the trees
Like my own private orchestra
Yet I’m wasting away

The salty taste fills my mouth and my mind.
You know I knew you once, way back when.
Though it troubles me now, it's hard to find.

Sure this war may look gory,

Well it's a beautiful mornin
I can hardly believe my eyes
Nothin but open air
And bright blue skies.

Slightly buzzing, slightly hectic.
Pushin me closer to the brink,
The water pulses toward the void.
