A broken window will want repair
And a broken arm must be treated with care
But what happens to a broken heart?
...

Welcome to the island of misfit toys
a place for unwanted girls and boys
a place where everyone cares, and no one is rejected
a beautiful place where no flaw is corrected
...

I know that I'm not supposed to cry over a boy
I know that I should be independent
But my train-wreck of an ego was depending on you
I have never opened myself up to anyone because it's easier
...

I want to thank you for all you taught me
I spent 4 days,3 hours, and 20 minutes crying over you
That was 4 days,3 hours, and 20 minutes I could have used to get over you
That was wasted time

'Goodnight'
'Goodnight'
She wants to say 'I love you' but can't
She can't because 'love' means falling, and she's afraid of heights
...

When you feel like no one loves you,
Who do you run to?
When you've fallen apart and driven everyone away,
Who will hold you?
...

He calls me at 4am
He's never awake past 1
Not unless something bad happened
Something bad happened

For me it will always be more than just a kiss
Every single touch means so much more when you didn't get to chose your first-
First kiss
First time
...

2 letters that changed a million things
2 letters
2 letters that taught me that I was worth more
Worth more than the cuts on my wrist, the blood on my hands, and the tears on my face

He was the most
Most...
He was my best-friend
My boyfriend
...

Morn after morn, He awoke alone
And prayed for her return
Until the truth made itself known
That to have her heart, He'd have to learn
...

'I want to whisk you away'
Hold her hand like it's the only thing anchoring you to this planet
Let her wear your jacket (she likes the way it smells)
Tell her she's beautiful

As I wait at the bus stop, a young fellow approaches me
“Do you have the time ma’am? ”
I ignore him and look straight ahead, because if I speak I won’t be able to hold it in
“Ma’am? ”

Kakorrhaphiophobia
Abapical
Careless
Irrational

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
I hold you to be more than magnificent
if intelligence is an acquired trait,
then you have acquired it beyond comprehension

Sometimes I make miles out of feet.
No, we make miles out of feet
Because having you next to me and knowing you're nowhere near me is impossible to ignore
Before I met you I didn't know

Every morning she looks in the mirror.
Only caring what he will think
She changes 1,2,3,4,8 times
Finally satisfied, she can leave
...

Sit on the couch- wandering hands and wanton mouths
Every now and then one of u speaks
I love you
Between kisses
...

The truth?
The truth is that he was only beautiful when he was on drugs
So, he was almost always beautiful
No

The Best Poem Of Persephone Springs

The Day He Cried

She came to him one day and said
That She wished to fly
He met her gaze and shook his head
And begged her not to try

Her lips twisted and brows knit
As She failed to understand
Just why He wanted her to quit
And be content on land

An oath, She made, to herself to see
The stars She would explore
Although He said no just let it be
And wished to hear no more

She asked him why She shouldn't go
And why He so loved the ground
For She dreamed of soaring to and fro
And living amongst the clouds

He looked at her, sighed and said
That this journey would only lead
To disappointment in the end
As She would surely not succeed

Encouraged by his stinging words
She set out to do even more
She promised to be just like the birds
To not just fly, but to soar

So for a time, through night and day
She tried again and again
Until the morn She found her way
And rode, gracefully, the wind

She glided, majestically, here and there
And also far and near
And so She told him so, with love and care
That He had nothing to fear

Yet, on the ground He wished stay
And still refused to go
So the two went their separate ways
She flying high, and He perched below

Through his eyes, his sorrows fled
His heart a heavy stone
Because He had known how this would end
With her free, leaving him alone

And He remembered the day She said
That She had wished to fly
For it was not She he doubted, but himself instead
As He had never dared to try
