Грязный Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Грязный

Грязный

Грозный comes from Russian word
Грязный with meaning of "Dirty."

Grozny is also capital, Chechnya's
And nickname for one of the Tsars.

Prior maybe known to those in the Boston
Because of bomb and deaths "Marathon's! "

But hardly anyone
Sees deeper into cause;
We are deaf and blind
(Taken by daily life!)

Caucasus and Russia
Have differed all along
In faiths and ways of life
(Can be seen in work of
Lermontov, young writer;
That could be a Pushkin
Or Russian Shakespeare!)

Read Bela in depth to
Learn about Caucasus,
And facts of Chechnya.

Then see who Peter was
And Ivan Grozny…

We can take some steps
Slow, like children.

Ivan was brutal
And in love with blood
(He is known by Tatars
And those in Novgorod!)

It is said:
"He butchered a countless
Number of innocents
As well as the Muslims! "

But he was worth to be
A Tsar to Russia…

He was told that two men
Related to London
Had entered Northern Sea.

"Do not do anything
Just watch them carefully! "
He ordered, demanded.

The two came as merchants
Which was the London's way
After the steamboats
And finding telescope
That changed the flat Earth
Into ball, sphere
Rotating around Sun
With the Moon and stars;
Rejecting Pope and Church.

Report came in detail:
"They preach religion
That is not Orthodox! "

"Catch them and bring them, "
Say the found documents
Gathered in Arkhangelsk
(At White Sea Location.)

With this he, the Tsar
Saved what is called Russia
From the colonialists
That always used tricks
Of trade and the faith
Then brought armaments
And many settlers!

Dissect the manner of Britannia
All over, India, Africa, America
As well as in China, Arabia
To see the Jackal-pact and the Fox!

Now, follow story of Tsar
To "Peter the Great"
As is called; and beyond.

And look at Chechnya
And mountains, Caucasian
And people over there…

They do share the cultures
Of Iran, Persia
All the way to where ice
Rule the land and sky;
The khan of Siberia
(His name is Yadegar…)

They used followed Zoroaster
Converted, were Muslims…

Have great peace-war dance
And wear the woollen caps
Made from Persian Lambs.

Nothing to be same as
The boyars, or Russians.

But with guns and bullets
Lot of things had to change.

Grozny fought Tatars
As Muslims and the Turks;
Same followed afterwards
Till Peter, gains and loss.

Peter was Orthodox
But not a real one.

Was married and was not;
To convent, sent first wife
To play with Anna;
Her lover was found dead
As it is norm these days
For Putin's Kremlin.

First wife died in Suzdal
And second in Moscow
With many stories
Following German girl…

He, Peter, was lucky,
Safavid Dynasty
Had grown very weak
So, he took lot of lands
From the Persians…

Soon after came Nader
The Shah with many gains
And returned Caucasus.

Politics is chess game
With a single "Checkmate! "

On and off struggles
Brought a young rebel
(Mansur was the Sheikh of
Caucasians, Chechnya;
Arrested, was in jail in a fort
Playground or war zone
Of Russia, Sweden and Finland!

There, I saw a tree;
"Is left from brother of Lenin, "
I was told: "The seed is of apple
That he held, partly ate."

There, also I was led
To a room dark, small:
"Here, and within walls,
Entrapped was a girl
That could fool the guards and
Got her hand on dull knife;
With which she ended life! "

Brave is hero who
Never bows to cruel
Enemy in power.
