સાંજ
થયું, લાવ જોઉં, ખીસાઓ ચકાસું
પડે સાંજ પહેલાં હિસાબો તપાસું.....!
રખે કોઈ ચિઠ્ઠી રહી હો ખીસામાં,
ભુલાયું હો કાર્ય ના કોઈ દિશા માં;
સમય રહેતાં પાણી ની પાળો ચકાસું,
પડે સાંજ પહેલાં હિસાબો તપાસું....!
જે ખોયું મેં આજે લઉં હું ઉધારી,
થયેલી ભૂલોને લખી દઉં સુધારી;
રહી જાય ના કોઈ ભૂલો ચકાસું,
પડે સાંજ પહેલા હિસાબો તપાસું....!
દુઃખો ની નોંધો બધી લઉં જમા હું,
સુખો ને નાખીશ ઉધાર માં હુ;
સુખ દુઃખ ના સાચાં હું કારણ ચકાસું,
પડે સાંજ પહેલાં હિસાબો તપાસું....!
રખે કોલ દીધાં રહ્યા હો અધૂરાં,
દીધાં હોય જખ્મો, મેં વચને મધુરાં;
જતાં પહેલાં ખાતાંઓ સૌનાં ચકાસું,
પડે સાંજ પહેલાં હિસાબો તપાસું....!
